April 26th, 2026

It is 8:13 AM, I am watching It’s Gonna Be A Punk Rock Summer – which is my buddy Dave and Shane’s first film. I’m watching it on my phone while typing this – I am looking for samples for one of the songs for the new album. Around the opening scene, the main character is reading Kierkegaard – I’m unsure what book exactly, but I believe it is from the Second Authorship. I’m going to write until I go to church and then I will finish this blog tonight and write about Blue Shell practice – if it’s interesting.

On Monday, nothing much of note happened. There isn’t a lot that typically happens on Mondays, however, I think a partial reason for this is because by the time I start writing these blogs, so much time has elapsed that if any notable thoughts have occurred – I have forgotten them and/or lumped into other sections. Oh Well.

On Tuesday, nothing of note also happened; however, I did design a flyer for a show in July. I am going to play acoustic – alongside two bands, one is The Apurna Project which is like a rock band that is adjacent to a lot of things and Angel Massacre which is a dope Black Metal band that I’ve kept my eye on for a while. I love Black Metal and I want to try and set up more black metal shows one day; Woodsguard is another Black Metal band that I really like and they are from West Virginia.

On Wednesday, I had my residency meeting. Essentially next semester I will begin my one-year residency, I’m expecting this year to be semi-stressful although manageable as I will need to work but will be unavailable for a great portion of the day Monday-Wednesday. This is something I can get through. I left work at around 2 PM, and on the way I listened to a narration of NoEnd House – which is a good creepypasta. Upon arriving at the college, I had an extremely difficult time finding the admin building. This is because while I’ve been a student for 3ish years, I’ve only been physically present at the school around 3 times. Anyway, the meeting went well and this week I will (hopefully) get started on studying my last test.

From here, I left the college; Whilst driving to K’s house, I listened to “The Scariest Haunted House in The World” by DeadnSpread (story linked here.); which is alright story, with a very good and/or interesting twist. Once I arrived at K’s house, me and her had a very comfy night in. She’s very pretty and I love her voice and everything about her. I was extremely sleepy and felt a little bad because I was so worn out but when I left me and her shared a great moment together. She’s my Moochie.

On Thursday, I saw the cows. See, my mom has a little bit of property that we don’t really use, and we have a section of land that we’ve just let overgrow. Anyways, my neighbor is like an actual farmer and owns cows and my mom and him (the farmer) have put up an electric fence around the yard which allows the cows to roam around this unused section of land and eat the grass. The cows are sweet and I plan on bringing K to my house soon so she can see them. Anyway, I drove to work – I listened to a creepypasta, A Mountain in Chicago (story linked here.), which is very interesting and has a creepy ending. Other than that, not much happened. I worked and then I went home and watched Lars Von Trier’s Melancholia, which was alright.

On Friday, I worked until about 2PM. I had a white Squier Stratocaster, which I wanted to trade for a Jackson Dinky – however, I ended up trading it with a game named Joey; he’s a nice older guy and he traded what I assume to be a Yamaha Pacifica that has a really cool galaxy paint job on it, a Peavy 25w amp, and a DOD Equalizer pedal for my guitar. Honestly, I think he was just getting rid of stuff. I need to plug the space guitar and make sure it works – it should, but if it doesn’t, it’s one of those one Humbucker and one volume pot guitars that (should) be easy to mess with. I need to clean (or swap) the bridge, and I’ll probably swap the pickup. It’s a very cool guitar and it’s got a cool swanky, cartoony sound that I think will sound cool if recorded clean and through direct input, but it can also sound awesome with distortion. Here’s a pic of the space guitar:

After the trade, I went home and I finished “The New Well-Tempered Sentence” by Karen Elizabeth Gordon and started “Artful Sentences: Syntax as Style” by Virginia Tufte – which are both great so far. I then played Minecraft until I didn’t and I watched an episode of Cold Case Files called “The Promise,” which is a great episode and I highly recommend it – the scene with the guys wearing the pig masks scared me when I was a kid, but it’s a great episode. The episode’s inciting incident takes place on October 23rd, 2004 – which is also a crazy coincidence since that would’ve been my 2nd birthday. I soon went to bed and fell asleep to an old KingSpook Creepypasta Narration compilation.

Yesterday was Saturday, I woke up around 8 AM and I read a little more of “Artful Sentences” and around 11:30 AM I tried to take a nap. At about 12:30 PM, I realized I wasn’t going to fall asleep, and I went over to Erik’s to record three songs. I got to Erik’s at about 1:45 PM and we recorded three songs. One of these songs is titled “Your Dad,” which is about my ex’s dad who passed away. What’s weird is I was unaware that Saturday was my ex’s dad’s birthday. He was a very good man, and I will refrain from anymore details as everything that I want/need to say is in that song. Me and Erik recorded two more songs and they went well. I took Erik to Tudor’s, which is a very great restaurant, and he got himself a very good dinner. From there I dropped Erik off and went to K’s house.

I came over to K’s house at around 5 PM, me and her relaxed and then we went to El Rancho, which is another great restaurant. Me and her had some really good food – I had a chicken burrito and me and her sat beside each other which was really sweet. Me and K headed home and me and her relaxed for a little before going to bed. She said I was really warm and she woke up sweating where I was so warm. I am extremely warm, which I think is a just a man thing.

This morning I woke up a couple times through the night; I had a dream where I came up with this real catchy song about being able to tell the difference between dreams and non-dreams (this was the word I used in said dream). I woke up completely when K’s alarm went off. I drove her to work and I went home. Me and her had a really good time together and I’m excited to see her again. I went home and wrote the beginning weekday portion of this blog and then I went to church and then I took a nap. I fell asleep to another one of KingSpook Creepypasta Narration, but this narration featured GloomyHouse, who is an old school Internet Horror YouTuber that I remember watching as a kid (and I plan on binge watching soon). I went to band practice and it went well and we have a show on Friday, which I am excited for.

It is now 9:23 PM. I have a complex week ahead as the finals week approaches. I plan on falling asleep to another KingSpook Creepypasta Narration – he’s a great narrator and I hope he returns to narrating one day. Anyways, please wish me luck with all my schoolwork. Goodbye.
