March 15th, 2026

It is 9:08 PM, I am wearing a high visibility hoodie that I bought at Gabriel Brother’s with my grandmother last October. An early episode of Roseanne is playing in the background, I’m listening to “Top 3 Worst Kill Tony BOMBS of all time” while looking at my notes for this blog. My boxer, Tazia, is also lying beside me. After writing the weekday section, I will try and clean around the house a little bit before my stepdad comes to the house – me and him are going to watch Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie at the Floralee Hark Cohen Cinema and I’m excited. As I will detail in a minute, my mom has been in Florida this past week, so I have been watching my animals. She knocked quite a bit off my rent for watching the animals.

Last Sunday I saw Seth for some recording, and it was very good to see him, me and him talked about French movies and some ideas for art related projects. We only worked for about an hour and then I went home. I worked on my guitar a little bit, applying the first 3 layers of clear coat.

On Monday I watched Breathless by Goddard, and I thought it was pretty good. There was a scene where the lady character shows off the Portrait of Mademoiselle Irene Cahen d’Anvers by Renoir is in the movie, which I at first thought was Woman at the Piano by Renoir, which is a painting that I’m familiar with. I remember a copy of the Piano painting being at my ex’s house when I bought there. It’s a cool piece, I’m also pretty sure that painting is in the South Park classroom. When I got home, I wet-sanded my guitar with 1000-grit sandpaper and then I added 3 more layers of clear coat. I fell asleep to some Davis Morgan videos, which are very good. I’ve linked my favorite one here.

On Tuesday I listened to the creepypasta “A Slight Misunderstanding” while mixing my cat’s food with their probiotic. I began the Peter Watkins’ Munch documentary(?) which is very good and I really liked it. Once I got home, I worked on my guitar all evening – polishing my guitar, putting strings on, etc. This is all to say my guitar is finished, and I will prepare a video about making it soon. At some point, Dave called me which I was very excited about, me and him talked about movies and I mentioned that his (Dave’s) movies reminded me of Godard’s movies at least in the way they were shot. From here, I went to bed.

On Wednesday, I was very depressed and anxious about my test that I would take the following day. I got very nervous and emotionally crashed and decided not to study and collapsed onto my couch and played Minecraft. I finished Munch, which was a very good movie, and I really liked the jump cuts that jump back and forth between Edvard’s traumatic childhood and important milestones in his adulthood (romantic encounters, anxious breakdowns, art show success and failures, etc.). I went to bed defeated with a sad acceptance that I would have to take my test in the morning.

On Thursday, I awoke to a pretty nasty snow from the night before. I ended up having to rush my routine to be at the testing center on time, which was not fun. My windshield was awfully fogged up, and it was almost impossible to see whilst driving but somehow, I made it to the testing center on time. From here I took my test, which I cannot mention too much but I’m pretty sure I failed 3/4 out of the 4 tests I took. I passed the Reading/Writing section though which I am slightly proud of. I got out of the testing center at about 11:20 AM which I was shocked about, and I ended up going to work and decompressing. I was depressed but happy that I got done with the test, I’ll have to retake the test, but I will divide the tests up and apply myself a little bit more. Anyway, from here I got drunk and played Minecraft. There is a viewer in my stream named MrMustard, and he’s obviously a kid who found my stream through YouTube Shorts; he likes to ask me about what movies I like and I always lie to him because I don’t want to recommend him any sort of real intense arthouse movies so I recommend a lot of Spielberg type stuff. Anyways, I played Minecraft quite a bit and then went to bed.

On Friday there wasn’t too much that really happened. I worked a full day and then I came home and played Minecraft. I fell asleep at about 7:30PM with my dog, I was most likely worn out from this entire week and I woke up at about 9:30 PM and then put my dog up and went to bed.

Yesterday was Saturday and I woke up and wrote the weekday section for this blog. After this I did a really good job at cleaning my room and I sorted my laundry and listened to a Pallettown narration of a section from David Foster Wallace’s The Pale King. I’ve linked that narration here. I cut up some of the shirts that no longer fit me and I’m hoping to make a cool collage. From here my mom came home and we had a good time catching up, she passed her Inspector General Auditor Certification Test, and I am very proud of her. She was the only one in her group that passed the test and I’m glad someone in my family passed a test this week.

My stepdad arrived at the house around 2:00 PM and I played Minecraft a little bit until we left. I drove to the Floralee Hark Cohen Cinema which is under Taylor Books, which is a great bookstore in Charleston. We watched Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie, which was amazing. I won’t give an ungodly long review – but it was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend going to see this movie while it is in theaters. Matt Johnson is my favorite filmmaker and The Dirties is my favorite movie of all time, I’ve seen all his movies. I might try to get Dave or K (or maybe both) with me to see it again, but we shall see. Next week I will be going with Dave to see Brian Sella and Emperor X at The Loud, which I am very excited for. Goodbye.
